The 4411 is an Austin, Texas–based alternative rock band formed by lifelong friends Tomas Gerlach (drums) and Cogan McBride (vocals). What began as a shared love of music growing up quickly turned into writing songs together and releasing their first single “Candy Heart,” landing on a Spotify editorial playlist and reaching new listeners.

While living together in college, the duo released “As You Please” and expanded into a four-piece with guitarist Alan Holmquist and bassist Nick Speer. Their debut EP, We Killed the Sun, arrived in June 2024 and launched their first tour, ending in a sold-out headlining show.

Since then, The 4411 has toured nationally, selling over 5,000 headline tickets and playing tons of sold-out shows across the U.S. Now in 2026 the band has released a handful of singles gearing up for their second EP and plans to be touring much more.
