At a high school not so long ago, in a town not so far away, a young bass guitarist named Mo connected with drummer JoeyT to form the nucleus of what would become the band Sooner Than Later. However a singing bassist and an in the pocket drummer did not a band make, so the line up was still incomplete. After auditioning several candidates it was clear that not just anyone could be in this band. So determined to find the STL chemistry all ready in sync between themselves, Mo and JoeyT continued scouting until they met rhythm guitarist Josh Haffer. With the addition of Haffer’s very solid rhythm riffs to the band it was clear that Sooner Than Later was more than just a hobby that would fade with time. Still even as a threesome, the mix was not quite all it could be. More auditioning was to come until the guys crossed paths with lead guitarist Kyle Luttrell. Luttrell’s skill level and the commercial tastefulness of his solos, gave the band the additional ingredients (combined with the other three members ) to distinguish itself from the sea of bands out there all “trying to make it.” After releasing a full length demo entitled ‘LIFE’ STL would go on to build a loyal fan base among concert goers, other bands in the scene and even promoters that wanted to showcase the band. However realizing the band was only scratching the surface of it’s full potential, The CAMP Entertainment Network signed STL to a management and development contract. The goal was fine tuning the band’s image, release new studio singles, shoot a hot music video and the addition of street/e-team staffing to stimulate the groups already growing grass roots popularity. Having all the pieces necessary to transition STL into a full time career project, the guys are on the grind to do no less. Make no mistake about it, Sooner Than Later is a band whose time has come and they are ready to rock to prove it.
