“ It doesn’t matter what songs we play. When we play a song, we reinvent that song, and it becomes our style of music.” That quote sums up the philosophy of Scrambled.
They are a band with great versatility and a great abundance of energy. Three good friends started the band together and decided to begin pursuing what they call Bluesgrass. According to Scrambled, bluesgrass is a groovy mix of bluegrass, blues, funk, reggae, country, and a little folk/americana.
Zach Hoock slaps his upright bass, Britton Liefer keeps the rhythm together chucking his mandolin, and Ray Bieri puts the final touch on the trio with his banjo and semi/hollow guitar. As they learned and progressed, their horizons began to broaden. All in one night, they are a not-so-traditional acoustic bluegrass group, as well as a rockin, blues infused, and full electric power trio.
From large concert settings to intimate bar rooms, Scrambled has played countless shows at many different kinds of venues. With the feel-good nature of their personalities and music, and animated styles of performance, it’s no wonder they continue to please every crowd.
Will I be able to sit down?
Some shows have limited seating (or no seating) on a first-come, first-serve basis. Don't worry, though – you will want to be on your feet once the music starts!
Are shows wheelchair accessible?
All shows at Blueberry Hill in the Duck Room are wheelchair accessible via an elevator in the Piano Room hallway. (Please call us 24 hours in advance to coordinate.) A small percentage of shows are in the Elvis Room, which is not accessible.
