Not just since they have become “corook,” but since they were a kid. Think of it almost as an origin story – exploring gender identity, family tension, and queer love wrapped in a new elevated pop sound. The songs keep their heart wrenching storytelling and catchy melodies accompanied by a vocal delivery reminiscent of Marcel the Shell with Shoes On.
