The male and female with birthdays on or closest to 8:00 pm Sept. 8, 1972 will be presented on the Duck Room stage 9/8/12 with a bonnet (female) and beanie hat (male) plus a sash for each that says “Blueberry Hill Baby.” Just bring your ID to our Anniversary Bash to enter! Everyone born on 9/8/72 will receive some free drinks! Two people will receive a night in a Jacuzzi suite at the fabulous Moonrise Hotel, 6177 Delmar in The Loop plus breakfast the next morning in the Eclipse Restaurant! |

32 days left–August 7: Ever wonder what those first customers at Blueberry Hill listened to back in 1972? Check out this list of the 100 songs on the original jukebox on opening day, September 8, 1972. All selections with the sole exception of Fats Domino’s hit version of “Blueberry Hill” were changed every two weeks. Selections were programmed by Joe Edwards from his collection of 30,000 45-rpm records. Billboard, Cashbox, Esquire Magazine, and the BBC (British Broadcasting Corp.) selected it as the “Best Jukebox in the World/America” as did the Post-Dispatch and Riverfront Times.

At 6:00 pm a “Second Line” horn group will march down Delmar to Blueberry Hill and escort four people supporting a cask with the ½ barrel of beer.
