Not Waving But Drowning are 4 dudes hailing from St. Louis, MO. The band first formed in 1998 and created their signature sound from fusing metal, punk and hardcore. Just one year later they were already touring the US and recording their debut LP for Takehold Records. The next couple of years would find the band touring extensively with bands such as Zao, Darkest Hour, Living Sacrifice, Dillinger Escape Plan, This Day Forward and more. In 2002, they disbanded while touring the west coast. Members moved away and pursued other projects, but they all kept in touch over the years and would play a few “reunion” shows from 2004-2011. Six years later, NWBD are back and plan to record the long awaited follow up to “If It’s Too Cute.. Set It On Fire” in 2018.

Will I be able to sit down?

We usually have seating but it's limited and is first come first serve. Don't worry, though – you will want to be on your feet once the music starts!

Are shows wheelchair accessible?

All shows at Blueberry Hill in the Duck Room are wheelchair accessible via an elevator in the Piano Room hallway. A small percentage of shows are in the Elvis Room, which is not accessible.

Whom should I contact about band bookings?

Do you do separate checks?

We regret we can't provide separate checks. We still use the old-fashioned paper ticket system we've used for the past 44 years.
